Back in February of 2022 I was asked by Isaiah Saxon to help with a few CG assets for a film he was going to direct for A24 called The Legend of Ochi. He really liked the skull studies I'd made a few months earlier and so he was wondering if I could help model a caterpillar for an important moment in the film. I really liked working with Isaiah on Earth Crisis and so it didn't take long for me to say "YES!"

I was responsible for modeling this little cutie and I also helped model the truck that Maxim drives around, but the model was only used for wide shots. One of the coolest things about this movie is that even though there was a little bit of CG in the film, most of the effects are practical. The ochis are all puppets!
