Ideally I'd wake up every morning at 6:45 and push around a ZSphere from 7:00 - 7:30. Sometimes that happens, but usually it does not. Life has a habit of being inconsistent. However on the days I do sketch, the final result is only for me. After 20 minutes, I either have something worth showing or I have a lumpy piece of digital clay. This case was one of the times when I was pretty happy with what I made.
I took extra time to paint his textures although he doesn't have a subsurface map so that's why he looks like plastic. It was all for the sake of experimenting so since I learned some things, I'm happy. I want to add more realism to my work and I think this is a good first step. More warmups to come!
